Carlos' knee starts bouncing and Chris knows they've been in the car long enough. They're just arriving into the city—the entire place looks, well, sad. It certainly seems like the kind of place run by terrorists. It, in a way, reminds Chris of the more run down areas of America. The downtown ones run by mafias and gangs. It seemed that particular kind of horror clouded the entire world too.

Yes, Monokuma came up with the name. Somehow, they had all ended up here after they died. Some of them knew each other, some didn't. But one thought lingered on each of their minds: maybe, just maybe, this prison escape game was punishment for their evil deeds.
