In which a Dragonslayer named Cass discovers that her life is about to get a whole lot worse then she ever thought imagined. The whole "becoming the queen and leading the creatures I'm supposed to kill" thing would be a lot easier if her "loyal followers" actually seemed to like her. Also, she wished there weren't so many people trying to kill her. An assassination before breakfast really ruins one's appetite.
Featuring but not limited to: Sassy queens, long suffering eye rolls, bonding over mutual hatred, heart-felt confessions in the middle of fighting, family being family, and a young women learning the importance of trust.
