"GREAT! Just great! As if this could GET any better!" Zanka bites out, seething. Of course he's stuck here, injured, in a damp, dirty cell, and of course he's stuck here with fucking Jabber of all people.
Jabber whistles appreciatively, "Man, you're in a mood today. Wake up on the wrong side of the bed?" and cackles at his own joke. Zanka's gonna strangle him. He's gonna rip out those bars with his bare hands and use them to beat Jabber to death.

chapter 1 - team akuta goes out to fight trash beasts. zanka gets to take the south region on his own and after clearing it gets hit with a dart. he ends up tranquilized but still awake. then he's knocked out by a rando with a metal baton.
chapter 2 - zanka wakes up in a cell with a killer headache, realizing jabber is in the cell next door, only separated by bars. when they get food they get shocked for not going against the wall, jabber is turned on (bc of course he is) but they end up getting food. zanka is sent into a laughing fit at the absurdity of the situation and jabber thinks he's been drugged, so he asks for some of his soup. zanka puts soup in his hand and jabber TAKES HIS HAND IN HIS DAMN MOUTH, zanka gets sadistic thoughts. he ends up almost breaking jabbers nose a second later. guards come again and jabber doesn't listen so his food and water supply is cut for a day, he gets knocked out and dragged away.
chapter 3 - zanka gets led to a torture room looking like a hospital mixed with torture chamber. he gets strapped into a chair and 2 ppl in lab coats walk in. one seems to be the leader and the other is the blow dart guy. he learns he's here so they can research givers for the "greater good" but he still isn't in any mood to do ts. he gets drugged with a toxin that hurts like a bitch and passes out. when he wakes up the toxin is being flushed from his system for more rounds of toxins to get a baseline. he gets back to his cell and him and jabber pass time with games. he gets food and gives some to jabber, slowly warming up to their time tgther.
chapter 4 - no torture the next day. when zanka goes in for torture the day after he gets to see assistaff and activate her. they put her over a flame to test how long he can keep her activated form, and he lowkey spites them by locking in. he goes back to his cell and jabber is dead asleep. he wakes him up with the shoe he thew earlier and it becomes a game. zanka is having awful nightmares
chapter 5 - zanka attempts to escape and gets pretty far until he's shot, caught and passes out. once back in the room jabber is slowly waking up and irritating zanka. zanka ends up taking the bait after attempting not to. jabber gets freaky, turns zanka on, and zanka decides to make a deal. don't say freaky shit and they can fight when they get out
chapter 6 - zanka doesn't get food anymore so jabber shares. jabber is obviously not okay. they start planning an escape tgth. zanka bandage replaced and torture resumes. wound is infected.
chapter 7 - assistaff gets carved into a lil and zanka's pissed. he learns they broke the 10th ring on mankira after seeing jabber absolutely awful. they find comfort in each others touch. relationship developing nicely
chapter 8 - zanka has a GOD AWFUL nightmare where assistaff is destroyed. jabber ends up attempting to comfort him. we make it to the escape day. their plan works rlly well and they take a sec to kiss when out of their cells.
chapter 9 - they kill some bitches, get their weapons back. kill the main guy, get out, get shot a lil, and have the place set to blow up. on the car ride into town jabber gives zanka his tail fabric so he doesn't bleed out, zanka ends up passing out leading to panicked jabber
chapter 10 - enjin pov, hella angst, jabber and zanka pull up at the end, they don't trust jabber, i feel hella bad for jabber (i want to cry bro)
chapter 11 - zanka has rlly bad trauma when getting healed. they learn "the truth" from jabber but everyone is still sus of him.
chapter 12 - team akuta reunion with fluff and angst. zanka missed jabber.
chapter 13 - team akuta angst and just zanka angst in general. JANKA FLUFFFFFF YEAHHHHHH -
