Summary
Timmy would trust Jimmy to make Cindy's muffins if he didn’t somehow always manage to set anything in the kitchen on fire. Only the “aqueous thermal infusor” or whatever stupid name he calls it is safe with Jimmy, which seems awfully convenient for the often sleep-deprived genius. Timmy’s been meaning to teach him how to make some basic stuff so he doesn’t starve when he hunkers himself down in his lab, anyways.

Summary
Dimmsdale was a, pun-intended, dim place. A sadness hung in the air that never seemed to go away, like an endless overcast day, or a freezing cold winter night. The drudgery of middle class 9-5 life slogged on in every corner of the town, and nobody who lived there ever acted like they had a choice in the matter. Timmy Turner was not exempt from this crowd, and his life was just as miserable, if not more miserable, than the average Dimmsdale citizen. The only difference was he had a foot in one dimension and an arm in another, and he never wanted that to change.

Summary
Danny stops for a moment just as he is about to bite something back. It took him a second to realize that he heard something different in Timmy's voice, so he just looks down without a word. He stays silent and stares at his kneeling teammate – pink clothes dirty, smooth skin covered in scratches, and expression on the sweaty face being one of anger. But the longer they stay in silence, the the easier it is for Danny to see through the little cracks. It starts with a single lip twitch, the second are suddenly stiff shoulders, and it ends with embarassed eyes escaping somewhere to the side. The more seconds pass, the easier it is for him to see the shame.
He briefly remembers that Jimmy once mentioned that tired people are much more likely to confess to anything, thus why, statistically, most heart-to-heart conversations happen at night. It takes him just that to decide that he has no reason not to believe Timmy, the boy seemed to be more honest right now than he wished to be.
Or: Danny and Timmy go on a mission, and everything goes like it always does. Besides the fact that Danny learns something about his friend that makes him change the way he views him.

Summary
Manny Rivera has a problem, and its name is Danny Fenton. The problem is actually his crush on the ghost boy, and that he doesn't know whether he should stop at the stage of playful flirting or maybe try aiming for something more.
This is noticed by one of his friends, so he and Timmy come up with a plan to make Danny jealous. Manny thinks that if he plays his cards right, Jimmy will also confront the feelings buried under the misery of his last breakup, even though Timmy is against it.
The plan backfires, because of course it does, and now the team thinks that they are dating. The weird thing is that Timmy asks him to keep that act, for reasons he does not reveal. And Manny agrees, because it sounds worrying, to say the least. This leads him to learn a few things about his so-called friend. One of those things is that he barely knows him.
