Looking at them now, on their lunch break, Shōta feels a headache coming on. Midoriya is flitting between Todoroki, who is sitting on a bench munching on an onigiri without a care in the world, and Bakugō, who is all but spitting fire, pacing up and down like an agitated tiger. When Midoriya tries to get Bakugō to sit down and eat, too, Bakugō explodes again, yelling loudly: "Don't tell me what to do, nerd!"

Summary
When Tenya, Ochako, and Izuku find the child's parents, just around the corner, both of them almost burst into tears. It turns out the child has just started to walk without help — one second, he'd been in sight of their parents, and the next, he'd been gone between the people milling around in the mall.
The mother turns to them, anxiety lessened now that the child is happily in his father's arms. "Did he use his quirk?"
His quirk? Izuku looks at the others. Finding his own doubts there, he shakes his head slowly. "I don't think so?"So. It turns out the child's quirk did activate after all.

Some of the humor vanishes from Tōya's eyes. Pulling out one of the kitchen chairs, he drops himself into it, resting his arms on the back of the chair.
"Make yourself comfortable," Shōto comments drily. As expected, Tōya grins, but it doesn't reach his eyes the way it did before. There's suddenly a sinking feeling in Shōto's stomach, and it doesn't go away when Tōya asks: "Shō, have you heard from Fuyumi lately?" -

Summary
It doesn't matter that her quirk is already up and active: impaled by some sort of debrit, the rice storage tower next to her groans, strains, and bursts like a bag of cereal. Ochako throws her hands up, instinctively, to use her quirk and attempt to push away the wave rolling down at her, but there's just too much. The pieces are too small, and for every rice corn Ochako touches, thousand slip by and pile down on her.
